Are you passionate about eCommerce, digital merchandising, and creating seamless shopping experiences? As the Digital Merchandising Manager at Highline Warren, you’ll play a key role in driving online sales and profitability by developing and executing data-driven merchandising strategies. This position will drive decisions that increase online conversion through analytics and site merchandising.

This is a brand-new role to the company that will sit within the Digital Experience team. As the Digital Merchandising Manager, you will get to build the Digital Merchandising strategy and capabilities from the ground up. This position will play a crucial role in driving our digital strategy while focusing on key financial metrics and performance indicators to optimize product assortment, create unique shopping experiences, and highlight promotions that align with business goals. Collaborating closely with Category, Channel Marketing, and Commercial team members, the Digital Merchandising Manager ensures a seamless and profitable digital shopping experience.

Reporting to the Director, Digital Experience, this role is instrumental in driving business growth through strategic and data-driven digital merchandising.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Digital Merchandising: Develop and own the site merchandising strategy for online product assortment, optimizing product presentation to drive conversions including a strong cadence of seasonal on-site brand and product storytelling. Improve category pages, product filters, and site structure to enhance the customer journey.
  • Metric Design & Analysis: Develop and manage KPIs (e.g. sales, AOV, abandoned cart, etc) to track and optimize digital performance, making data-driven decisions to improve product assortment and conversions.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Use internal and external data to inform assortment and promotional strategies, identifying opportunities and risks that balance sales and margin.
  • Promotion Planning: Partner with category and channel marketing teams to develop digital strategies for online promotions, using performance data to forecast and maximize sales impact.
  • Customer Experience: Leverage customer behavior data to create tailored shopping experiences for our different customer segments.
  • Operational Monitoring: Track and act on digital performance trends, refining strategies to enhance the customer journey and sales outcomes. Use third party tools for SEO optimization, A/B testing and web analytic monitoring.
  • Taxonomy, Search & Navigation: Oversee website taxonomy, onsite search results and navigation to ensure products are easy to find.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Commercial, Category, Creative Services, Channel & Digital Marketing, and development teams to bring campaigns to life.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND ADDITIONAL SKILLS

An individual qualified for this job must be able to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, e-Commerce, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in digital merchandising or e-commerce with an emphasis on financial performance
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple websites and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive sales, optimize merchandising strategies and improve profitability.
  • Possesses a high level of creativity to regularly generate innovative solutions to market challenges
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools and conversion optimization strategies
  • Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud Builder, personalization and content management.
  • Experience with Klaviyo or similar email marketing software a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Possesses a high level of creativity to regularly generate innovative solutions to market challenges
